The Electronic Entertainment Expo is coming along the way. Since I'm a hardcore gamer, I am very excited as usual for this event. It is the biggest event for all gamers. All the best games and\or consoles get announced at E3. And this E3 looks to be good for more details on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Also, can Nintendo and the Wii U be able to be in strong competition with Sony and Microsoft? To build up for this expo, I have predictions up my sleeve for the main three companies, Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony.
Nintendo creates questions. Where is this game? Where is that game? At this E3, I think Nintendo will nail it by announcing their big exclusives people have been waiting for like a new Super Smash Bros and maybe even a new Metroid. Last year they just tried to hook in consumers by announcing and releasing mostly third party games. But this year, I think their beloved franchises will take the show. Then the Wii U will become a worthy buy. I know Nintendo fans would love to see a new Zelda game for Wii U, but I don't believe one will be announced. I think at most we might see a short teaser trailer. Speaking of Zelda, I am hyped for A Link to the Past 2 on 3DS. I loved the first on Super Nintendo, and the new installment looks very promising. Even though it seems more like a re-make of the first. Nintendo seems to be overshadowed by Sony and Microsoft. Even though Nintendo will not hold a press conference, they still are worth watching.
Since the announcement of the Xbox One, I have not realized that Microsoft is getting hated on this new console. For instance, people are not happy about the "always online" feature, the lack of backwards compatibility, and not showing gameplay footage. People need to understand that this was just a revealing of the console, that's it. I'm just happy that we are confirmed of some games that will release on the console. During the press conference, I think two possible outcomes were occur. Either Microsoft will calm down all the angry gamers and announce something grand, or they will reveal something new about the console that is terrible which will just add salt to the wound. Furthermore, I also expect to see details for Forza Motorsport 5 and multi-platform games like Call of Duty Ghosts and Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag. As well as price, release date, ect.
Finally, I think Sony will do okay at E3. Personally, I don't see anything too special about the games currently confirmed on the Playstation 4, but I don't see them screwing up. One of the highlights should be Sony revealing the actual system; which we didn't see from the PS4 reveal conference. I'm looking forward to Gran Turismo 6. We will see if the series can get even more realistic. Just from my guts and instincts, I see many surprises from Sony this year.
E3 is like the Super Bowl for gamers. This is what gamers look forward to all year, and I'm just excited as everyone else, maybe even more. So you can probably expect a blog on my thoughts. Alright folks, watch E3 and happy gaming.
