(Don't get confused about the lack of an introduction. When I mention companies announcements, I will also take into account the gameplay showed after the press conference.)
Electronic Arts rocked E3 out of the water, according to many gamers. The hype train has arrived at EA. Battlefield 4 is making CoD Ghosts look like it's nothing. From my perspective, it's looks good, but it seems like the standard first person shooter. However the multi-player looks promising. Other announcements include Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Madden NFL 25, Mirror's Edge 2, a new Star Wars Battlefront, and Need for Speed Rivals. I had no idea Mirror's Edge had a cult following, but once again hype is present in this announcement. Need for Speed Rivals took the show for me. The "revolutionary" multi-player is something to watch for and a buy for me this holiday season. Ubisoft did just as well according to gamers as well. I'm not too hyped though. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Watch Dogs, and Tom Clancy's The Division were Ubisoft announcements at E3.

Nintendo likes to work safe in the business, but now it's getting old and they need to wake up. Stop releasing the same and predictable Mario games! Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 don't look bad or anything, but there's nothing "wow" about those games and the entire press conference at all. We all new the new Super Smash Bros being revealed at E3. While I was watching the trailer for the game on Wii U, I had to reckon that this was a upcoming release. In short, this new Smash Bros (releasing in 2014) looked so stunningly like 2008's Super Smash Bros Brawl on Wii. Nintendo what are you doing?! With all the commotion with the Wii U, the 3DS looks to be striving well. Pokémon X and Y seems good, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was my favorite game from Nintendo this year. My predictions were somewhat right, but this wasn't what I was expecting. I wanted Metroid, and other new franchises that haven't seen the light of day for a while (*cough* Star Fox *cough*). Now I'm not finished just yet with Nintendo. I will write a separate blog later to discuss the trouble that the Big N faces.
Microsoft did good things, but the elephant in the room wasn't cleared. What we saw was many games; more like many exclusives. There will be exclusives for the Xbox One like Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, and Sunset Overdrive. I think Microsoft did a decent job on the games; nothing too great either in my opinion. Go ahead and bash me, but what's is so incredible about Titanfall? Maybe I just need to watch more gameplay of it. The major problem was that Microsoft did not clear the "always online" and the lack of used games being capable on the Xbox One. That was what killed their press conference for most people; along with the $499 price. Until! Microsoft announced a few days ago that consumers can play offline without a 24 hour online check in, and used games can be played on the console. Good job Microsoft!
Sony, or the "winner" of E3 2013 seemed to announce fewer games for their next gen console, and also did what Microsoft did at the Xbox One revelation. I'm not too impressed with the lineup; The Order, Driveclub, and Infamous: Second Son. Sony also discussed T.V and movies on Playstation 4. Yeah, good move Sony! I really don't know what is Sony's future. There are very few exclusives compared to Xbox One.
