Sorry for the delay, and I have a blog that basically wraps up the 7th generation and give my opinions on how it went. Plus I will reveal my favorite games from this generation.
First off, I really think the 7th generation was much improved from last generation. The Playstation 2 was a good console, but it absolutely dominated the market. Each console shared equal success. Also, last generation didn't seem to have any big innovations. The 7th generation's most obvious innovations were online gaming becoming standard and motion controls. And I can safely say, they'll be here as long video games exist.
So that's good and all, but there's one problem that I must clear up. All it is are three letters, D-L-C! You want to finish a game, you want this, you want that? Just buy a $15 dollar expansion! Uh, no thanks.
The 7th generation was long; going all the way back to 2005. So naturally, many great games emerged in that time frame. Here are some of my favorites of this generation in no particular order.
