I'm a little disappointed. This game should have gotten much higher reviews than what I have seen. It didn't get anything bad, but I see a lot of 8's as scores. And this game is much, much better than an eight out of ten. When it was released, this game showed off all of the capabilities of the console it played on. The level design is something that's just so spectacular that you have to at least look at if you haven't already. Sometimes you'll find an unexpected twist in the level that's a pleasure to play through. Thinking about all the action packed fun going on in the game just makes me want to stop typing right now and play the game. But the icing on the cake is the controls. Every game on list has great controls. Which I really shouldn't have to explain since in order to be in the top 10 best, games must have spot on controls. But the controls in this game are just so perfect that it makes the game surprisingly even more fun. You really have full control over the character you're playing as. And awarded the #2 greatest game of all time is no other than........
This game is a masterpiece that re-defined it's genre and took it to a new level. It showed what this genre was capable of. Players can experience so much since this game will give you solid hours of gameplay. Sometimes games can be too easy or too relentless, but this game's difficulty is perfect right in the middle. And I can't forget about the soundtrack; it's just amazing. Everything about this game is inherited from the other games of the series and doubled. It's a game that is simple for everyone, but it's also a deep experience as well thanks to the power ups, incredible level design, and a wide variety of obstacles. And if what I all said wasn't good enough, this game was a launch title. Talk about an amazing way to hook in consumers. The number 3 greatest game of all time goes to......
This might make many gamer's list, and it definitely deserves to. In this gem of a game, you explore a dark and huge open world that is excellently well designed. You can't help stop playing because you want to discover everything. It pays off when you realize how much progress you've made which makes the game better. Why I really love this game is because of the complete freedom given to the player. You're put into this massive world, and off you go on your journey. No direct missions and no "go to this place" kind of things which would appear later in this series. The number 4 greatest game of all time goes to......

This is now the real deal. The games ranked #5 through #1 are on another level. And no better way to kick off a game than with one that had gamers calling the future games in the genre "clones" to this game. Simply, this game was amazing then and amazing today. I'll listen to this game's killer soundtrack on my iPod for sure. That fits with a game that is just so satisfying; along with a big open environment to destroy anything in your way, this game never gets old. Award the #5 greatest game of all time is....
This game may not necessarily be the number #1 greatest game of all time, but it is the most revolutionary game of all time. It's credited for "reviving" the video game market in the US. And being a killer app, this game along with the console it plays on allowed us to be playing video games today. Also, this game set the standards for not just it's genre, but for all video games back then and today as well. Aside from that, this game is a blast to play in general with all the secrets and innovative level designs. Everything about this game is remembered by all gamers. The number #6 greatest game of all time is.....
This game is a game that every gamer has heard of, but never to be found on greatest games of all time lists. But now it's on this list. And it definitely deserves to be here for revolutionizing it's genre and perhaps even the entire industry. This game had strong competition with another game from the same genre, and I feel this game beat that competition. With great controls, graphics, fun factor, and one of the most famous video game quotes ever, the number 7 spot belongs to.....
It's simple, it's very simple at that. There isn't much to say about this absolute classic other than I have a blast playing it every time. It has a control scheme that may take time to get used to, but once you start to get the hang of it you'll love this game. This game can be a competitive game as well. So yes, not really much else to say but it's an amazing game that I wish I had one of these arcade cabinets at my house. The number 8 spot goes to......
There are always good games on a console, but the successful consoles have that game(s) that sells consoles, and ends up putting a stamp on the console saying "go buy this" and drive console sales. Those are the killer apps.
This amazing game surprised me. I expected it to be good; since it's a sequel to another great game. But I didn't think this would be a Top 10 game of all time. Just like the number 10 spot, this game features great realistic stealth action. Few games match all the variety and number of objectives to take part in this game. Who knows if I'll even get to finish everything. The combat might be the best I've seen in a game, and everything is improved and expanded than it's predecessor. The only 7th generation game on this countdown belongs to the 9th spot which is.......
